Emily A. Santana is an Associate of the Ingber Law Firm and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and pending admission in New York. At the Ingber Law Firm, Emily is involved in foreign and domestic trademark and copyright registration and litigation in order to protect and enforce clients’ intellectual property rights.
Emily received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from St. Petersburg College. She graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City in 2015 with a Concentration in Intellectual Property and Corporations. While at Cardozo, she was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Jewish Law Student Association.
In addition to school activities, during law school she interned for half a year at Dramatists Guild of America where she researched novel trademark and copyright issues impacting playwrights as well as reviewed and drafted various intellectual property contracts. Emily also interned for a year at Sony Music Entertainment where she reviewed and drafted various trademark and copyright licensing agreements as well as investigated infringing websites and advertisements and drafted memoranda for pending litigation. These internships is where she realized her passion for intellectual property.
Emily is fluent in Spanish; an avid football, hockey, and baseball fan; and in her free time loves to read and write Young Adult fiction novels.
She is an Army Brat but spent most of her life residing in Holiday, Florida.
