Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Mark Ingber has been practicing law for over 30 years. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and is a Member of both the New Jersey and New York Bars. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Albany where he majored in Political Science.

Mark Ingber’s passion and relentless pursuit of superior representation in the practice of trademark and copyright law is the driving force behind the Ingber Law Firm. Included in his area of expertise are the related aspects of litigation in Federal and State Courts and before the Trademark Office. He also engages in the prosecution of trademark applications and searches, litigation involving intellectual property infringements, and policyholder insurance coverage. He has personally registered hundreds of trademarks with the United States Trademark Office as well as numerous international trademarks and copyrights.

Mark Ingber has been recognized by Inside Jersey Magazine in its selection of New Jersey’s Top Legal Minds and has received the prestigious AV® 2024 Preeminent™ Rating from Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review in the practice of Intellectual Property and meets the very high criteria of General Ethical Standards (the highest possible ranking). He is a former member of the Office of Attorney Ethics District V-B Fee Arbitration Committee; a former Member of the Supreme Court’s District Fee Arbitration Committee for Essex County District V-B;; and a past Chairman of the Essex County Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Committee. He has also been a frequent Lecturer on Intellectual Property issues before the Essex, Morris and Union County Bar associations. Mr. Ingber is also the author and co-author of articles that have appeared in publications such as the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Business Law Section and the Essex County Bar Association’s Chronicle magazine. He is a contributing author in the book, Traps for the Unwary. He is regularly called upon by media outlets including the New Jersey Law Journal, the Star Ledger, and the Atlantic City Press for background information in the field of Intellectual Property.
